Independent iPhone repair vs. the Apple Store
Apple repairs iPhones well, but mostly by swapping whole assemblies, and an out-of-warranty fault often ends in a replacement offer. An independent repair shop can fix the part that actually failed, including the logic board, often for less and usually faster.
If your iPhone is under warranty or AppleCare+ and the fault is covered, start with Apple. For everything else (cracked screens out of warranty, tired batteries, liquid damage, phones that won't turn on, or data you need back) you'll usually save time and money with us. Apple Store vs. independent repair, explained.
Which iPhone parts we use
For screens there's a real choice. An OLED replacement looks and behaves like the original: deep blacks, accurate color and smooth scrolling. A budget LCD costs less but looks a little duller and uses more battery. Both carry our warranty, and we explain the trade-off before any work. OLED vs LCD.
Newer iPhones may show an "Unknown part" message in Settings after a screen, battery or camera is replaced. The part still works; the message is about Apple's parts pairing. We'll tell you what to expect for your model before we start. What the message means.
Repairs other shops send away
Most shops stop at screens and batteries. Our lab does board-level microsoldering: iPhones that won't turn on, won't charge, have no service or died after liquid. Repairing the board is also how we recover photos and messages from phones that are otherwise dead. Logic board repair · Data recovery.
Near you or by mail
Book online and you'll see your price in three questions. Then choose a checked repair store near you, or mail your iPhone to our lab with a free, prepaid, insured label. Mail-in repairs are diagnosed within 24h of arrival and usually take 7–10 days door to door. Either way: free diagnosis, no fix, no fee, and a 90-day warranty on lab repairs.
Before any repair, back up if you can, and leave Find My on if you prefer: we never bypass passcodes or iCloud security, and we'll only ask for your passcode if we need it to test the repair.
