Repairing the iPhone 17
The iPhone 17 is the first standard iPhone with a 120Hz ProMotion screen and an always-on display, now 6.3 inches with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front. It has two 48MP rear cameras, an 18MP Center Stage front camera, Camera Control and the Action button. Because the screen now matches Pro features, the choice of screen grade matters more than on earlier standard models.

ProMotion on a standard iPhone
An OLED screen made for the iPhone 17 keeps the 120Hz refresh rate. Budget LCD panels typically run at 60Hz.
If you bought the 17 partly for its smoother screen, choose OLED. If you just need a working phone, LCD is a fair option.
The front camera
